We want to share a simple but profound message with you today: You matter.
You are saving and transforming lives. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued support of the Home of Peace Children’s Home in Kenya, through the TLC Children’s Trust.
Because ofyou, these children have a completely different life than the one they left behind. Now that they are at Home of Peace.
They eat well. Because of you, they receive a nutritious, hot meal cooked with love by our kitchen staff every evening.
They can be children. After their meal, thanks to you, they can relax and watch TV before bed.
They sleep safely. They sleep in a decent bed with clean bedding, knowing they are safe, instead of fearing for their lives on the streets.
They have an education. They wake up to a good breakfast and leave for school in a clean uniform, supplied with everything they need to learn, instead of begging or sniffing glue to dull the pain.
They are healthy. If they get sick, we have a trained nurse on duty, an equipped sick bay, and the ability to connect them with a doctor or hospital.
They are loved. They are not alone; they are cared for by a dedicated, hardworking staff.
Thanks to you, these children have a future.
We are so grateful that we can meet these needs because of wonderful people like you, but it is becoming increasingly difficult. Rapidly rising prices and the fact that some supporters have had to reduce their contributions mean we face constant financial pressure.
We are so thankful for how God has used you. Please continue to pray that He will touch hearts to supply the additional funds we need to keep this essential ministry running.
